Clayton Anderson Brings “Fishing Song of the Year” to Fans on 2022 Summer Lake Tour

Releases Love Song to America, “Made In The USA,”

today, ahead of Memorial Day Weekend

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 25, 2022) — Clayton Anderson, whose recent single “Show Me Your Fish” (hailed as “the fishing song of the year” by Hook & Barrel Magazine), announces a string of 2022 Lake Tour dates throughout the midwest, along with traditional club shows into the Fall. Tickets and all show info can be found here. Written by Clayton, Christian Stalnecker, and GRAMMY winner Dave Audé, “Show Me Your Fish,” which has received editorial playlisting across Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, was chosen as the theme song for Major League Fishing’s REDCREST 2022 (Pro Bass Fishing’s World Championship and Inaugural Expo) in March. When executives at Pure Fishing, Inc. — maker of the leading rod brand Ugly Stik heard the song — they, along with MLF, asked Anderson to be part of the tournament's events. Clayton delivered a 90 minute concert, including “Show Me Your Fish,” at the SageNet Center at Expo Square in Tulsa, OK.

Today, Clayton follows "Show Me Your Fish" with his new track “Made in the USA,” a “love song to America,” and accompanying Lyric Video (link below) via Visionary Media Group, ahead of Memorial Day Weekend.

“‘Made in the USA' is full of that classic Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp spirit -- that small town youth-searching-for-love-and-a-way out energy,” he says. “America has always been a melting pot, wrapping its arms around all who come and chase their dreams here. Producer Brandon Hood (Brett Eldredge, Aaron Watson, The Sons of the Palomino) brought this track to life in the studio with the fullness in sound and from-the-heart energy. We all felt something special with this one from the first note. It meant a lot to me to release this for Memorial Day because I have such gratitude for every person lost while serving in the U.S. military. This song represents the American dream -- a dream they gave their lives for and I don't take any of that for granted.”

Clayton is finishing a full length album, planned for release in late 2022.

About Clayton Anderson:

A country singer-songwriter with a midwestern rock flair, Clayton Anderson grew up on the lakes of Southern Indiana — fishing, boating, and playing his guitar. As a student at Indiana University, he kicked off his music career, building a grassroots fan following playing local bars and parties. In 2008, he walked onstage at Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star Battle in Cincinnati and walked off as thewinner. He released his debut album, Torn Jeans & Tailgates, in 2011, followed by Right Where I Belong (2014) and Only to Borrow (2016). Pre-COVID, he toured nonstop, opening for Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Thomas Rhett, Lee Brice, and Carly Pearce. During the pandemic, Clayton got creative, going virtual and diving back into his roots on the water with a lineup of Lake Tour concerts. To kick off 2022, Clayton released two brand new singles: “Nothin’ But Net” (produced by Grammy-winning Dave Audé and as heard on ESPN for College Basketball Season) and “Get After It” (produced by Nash Overstreet), a song that celebrates hard work and getting the job done. Stay tuned for much more to come from Clayton in 2022. Clayton's appearance at REDCREST 2022 was presented by Ugly Stik in support of his hit, "Show Me Your Fish." Hosted by VisitTulsa, "REDCREST 2022 Presented by Costa" took place March 23-27, 2022. The event showcased the top 41 Bass Pro Tour anglers from the 2021 season competing for the prestigious REDCREST Championship and the top prize of $300,000. Clayton is finishing a full length album, planned for release in late 2022.
