Announces New Tour Dates and Readies for

Headlining Indianapolis Colts’ Home Opener Concert Sept. 25

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 16, 2022)Clayton Anderson releases Made In The USA today — his first full-length album since signing to Visionary Media Group in 2021.

The Southern Indiana native, who just wrapped a summer-long lake tour, celebrated the new album with a release-day CMT World Premiere of the heart wrenching video for his latest single “Let Me Go,” written by Anderson, Jimmy Ritchey, Robert Counts, Brian Pruitt (and produced by Brandon Hood). "Let Me Go" was mixed in Dolby Atmos and will be available on DSPs that support spatial audio.

Continuing to proudly represent his home state, Anderson will headline the Indianapolis Colts’ Home Opener Concert, presented by Bud Light, at American Family Insurance “Touchdown Town” on Sunday, Sept. 25. The concert will take place at 10 AM EDT before the Colts open their home schedule against the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 PM.

“I’ve been so excited about releasing this album for months now. I can’t believe its debut is finally here! Made In The USA has been a labor of love; every note on every song I poured my heart into and I can’t wait for the world to hear it,” says Anderson. He adds, “On top of debuting this album, our friends at CMT are World Premiering my newest video to ‘Let Me Go,’ which you won’t want to miss. You can catch it on CMT Music or at CMT.com today. Make sure you watch through the end for the goosebump ending.”

Made In The USA features 12 tracks (eight co-written by Anderson) and is his most introspective album yet — sharing his deepest dreams, fears, and hard-working pride, while delivering the raucous, feel-good tunes that have earned him engaged fans across America and premier placements with blue chip brands like Ford, Major League Fishing, the Colts, and ESPN, and editorial playlisting across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

Anderson’s midwestern childhood shaped the happy-go-lucky singer, who grew up fishing, boating, and playing his guitar on the lakes of Southern Indiana. After releasing album track “Show Me Your Fish” (by Anderson, Christian “Davis” Stalnecker, and Grammy winner Dave Audé) earlier this year — crowned “the fishing song of the year” by Hook & Barrel Magazine — Anderson again tributed his roots and the state that built him with his third album single “Indiana” (Anderson, Audé, Stalnecker), on August 12 for 812, Anderson’s Southern Indiana area code.

Greatly inspired by the Hoosier State’s music heroes (John Mellencamp, John Hiatt, and Michael Jackson), Anderson launched his career at Indiana University where he played the frat circuit before winning Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star battle of the bands in 2008. He then moved to Nashville to “Get After It” — a personal creed for Anderson, who, along with co-writers Nash Overstreet and Shane Stevens, channeled the motivating message into an anthem for those who work hard to play hard. Ford — the hardest working of truck brands — selected “Get After It” for its national Spring Truck Month ad campaign, and recently renewed it for this Fall.

Made In The USA’s eponymous single (written by Brandon Hood, Parker Welling, and Aaron Parker) released on May 25th, just in time for Memorial Day. Watch the lyric video here.

About Clayton Anderson:

A country singer-songwriter with a midwestern rock flair, Clayton Anderson grew up on the lakes of Southern Indiana — fishing, boating, and playing his guitar. As a student at Indiana University, he kicked off his music career, building a grassroots fan following playing local bars and parties. In 2008, he stepped onstage at Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star Battle in Cincinnati and walked off as the winner. He released his debut album, Torn Jeans & Tailgates, in 2011, followed by Right Where I Belong (2014) and Only to Borrow (2016). Pre-COVID, he toured nonstop, opening for Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Thomas Rhett, Lee Brice, and Carly Pearce. During the pandemic, Anderson got creative by partnering with the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour: Home Edition and launching socially-distanced “Lake Tour” concerts. 2021 saw the release of “Only Us,” one of his most-streamed songs to date.

Anderson kicked off 2022 by dropping two new tunes: “Nothin’ But Net” (co-written with Christian Stalnecker (Kane Brown) and co-written/produced by Grammy-winning Dave Audé and as heard on ESPN for College Basketball Season) and “Get After It.” Co-written by Shane Stevens (“Fancy Like”) and produced by Nash Overstreet, the latter song celebrates hard work and getting the job done and can also be heard in a national Ford ad campaign. Now he’s gone back to his roots on the water, releasing fishing anthem “Show Me Your Fish,” also co-written by Christian Stalnecker and co-written/produced by Dave Audé. On August 12 (812 happens to be Southern Indiana’s area code) Anderson released “Indiana” in tribute to his home state. On September 16, he released his national debut album Made In The USA with a simultaneous release of a new music video to “Let Me Go” via a CMT World Premiere.
